Reels Competition Details<\/strong><\/p>

Scope of the Competition: Reel shot in Sahyadri or Himalaya covering any of the topics given below:<\/p>

\u2022 Trekking
\u2022 Rock Climbing
\u2022 Mountaineering
\u2022 Mountain Biking<\/p>

Eligibility:<\/strong> The Competition is open to all Indian Citizens.
Registration Fees:<\/strong> There is no registration fee for the Competition.
Last Date of Submission:<\/strong> 20 June 2025, 23:59 Hours

Submission Medium:<\/strong> The Reel can be uploaded on the google drive via link provided in the google form<\/p>

Entry Submission Guidelines
<\/strong>
\u2022 All entries must be submitted either in Marathi\/English\/Hindi language only.
\u2022 Only two entries will be allowed per participant. Any person found submitting more than permissible limit of entries shall be blacklisted from the Competition and all entries received from such participant shall not be considered for the purposes of the Competition.
\u2022 The entry must not exceed the prescribed time limit of 60 seconds. Content should be clear and factually correct. No use of foul language or hacks will be permitted.
\u2022 The entry must not bear any unparliamentary and\/or obscene content. If it is not safe to view or share in public, it should not feature in an entry.
\u2022 The entry must be submitted in .mp4 ONLY.
\u2022 Resolution : HD 1080*768 pixels minimum, Vertical aspect preferable.
\u2022 File should be name as <ParticipantnameReel1\/2> For example two reels from ABCD XYZ should be names as follows
1. <abcdxyzreel1>
2. <abcdxyzreel2>
\u2022 The entry must not contain copyrighted audios.
\u2022 The entry must be original and bonafide work of the participant.
\u2022 Participant can provide hashtag, but unrelated hashtag will not be accepted by organizer.
\u2022 To participate in the Competition, interested candidates must submit their entry, by 18th June 2024, 23:59 Hours (Indian Standard Time) using the below mentioned Google Form Link. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances, interested candidates must submit their entries by 20 June 2025, 23:59 Hours<\/strong> (Indian standard Time)…<\/p>

Judging Criteria
<\/strong>
\u2022 The entries received 20 June 2025<\/strong> shall be reviewed and shortlisted by the Organizer.
\u2022 The shortlisted entries shall be posted on the Organizer\u2019s official Instagram handle @girimitra on 25 June 2025<\/strong> along with due credits to the participant.
\u2022 The shortlisted entries shall be open to the public from 25 June 2025 to 5 July 2025.<\/strong>
\u2022 The entries will be judged based on the maximum number of Likes to the reel, along with an added benefit for shares and saves for award category 1 based upon public appreciation.
For award category 2 which is selection by Jury, the entries will be judged based upon storyline, visuals, audio, originality & impact of the reel.
\u2022 The results will be declared based on \u2018Likes\u2019 a particular post receives. The Likes and Jury judging shall be done until 5 July 2025, 8:00 p.m<\/strong>. In case of a tie, \u2018Saves\u2019 and \u2018Shares\u2019 on Instagram will be considered.
\u2022 Participant are allowed to use preapproved hashtags only.<\/p>

Please Note:<\/strong>
\u2022 Award winning Reels will be rewarded and screened at the Girimitra Sammelan – subject to availability of time.
\u2022 Winners will get entry only for attending the Reel competition award ceremony (i.e. Post Lunch session 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on 13th of July 2025<\/strong>). If he\/she desires to attend the one and half day Girimitra Sammelan then he\/she has to obtain donation pass of
Girimitra Sammelan.<\/p>

Rules and Regulations:
<\/strong>
1. By participating in the Competition, the participants agree to indemnify the Organizer from and against all claims, suits and damages based on any claim of copyright infringement or plagiarism or unauthorized use.
2. The decision of the Organizer in regards to the entries, shortlisting thereof and\/or any matters in respect to the conduct of the Competition shall be final and binding.
3. Girimitra Sammelan reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and \/ or remove any Entry that does not comply with the competition rules.
4. The decisions taken by the judges will be final and binding on all participants.
5. If drone Camera was used for filming, the participants are required to fill in a declaration for the same (See the attached declaration)
6. Intentional Advertisement of a product, Brand or Organization in the Reel is strictly prohibited. In such an event, the reel will be disqualified from the competition. However, a credit given to the Sponsor at the end of the reel is permissible. Sole discretion and final decision for such disqualifications is with the organizers.
7. All the entries sent for this competition must be original work of the participant. He \/ she should keep the raw footages, rushes, original photographs ready – if asked by the Organizers, Judges.
8. Girimitra Sammelan reserves the Right to Reproduce or telecast the accepted entries for publicity purposes through Press, Electronic & Social Media, etc.
9. If the Reel is selected by any Electronic channel for Telecast purpose or by any Social Media platform, participant needs to fulfill all the Legal and Technical formalities\/specifications as required by the media, platform.
10. Participant should not keep any monetary expectations in terms of Royalty against telecast of the Reels at any kind of media. Girimitra Sammelan will not be held liable for any such claims.
11. In no case will the Organizers or Event Representatives be held responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind; including Direct, Indirect, Incidental or Consequential damages arising out of any participant\u2019s access to and use of the Website or because of virus.
12. Girimitra Sammelan or the Event Representatives will not be held responsible for failure of receipt, loss or damage of any Reel entered in the competition due to technical or virus issues.
13. The Reel must not contain obscene, Provocative, Defamatory, Sexually Explicit or other Objectionable and Inappropriate content.
14. Each entry neither should infringe upon the Copyright, Trademarks, Contract rights or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity; nor should it violate any Person\u2019s Rights of privacy or publicity. In case of any violations, the sole responsibility lies with the participant.
15. The shortlisted participants and winners of the Competition authorize the Organizer to use their names, entries and Instagram handles for the purpose of publicizing the Competition and its results.
16. Submission of entry by the participant implies understanding & acceptance of the rules and
regulations of the competition.<\/p>
