Sketching Competition Details<\/strong><\/p>

Scope of the competition:<\/strong> Sketches covering any of the below topics in Sahyadri or the Himalaya:<\/p>

  1. Hiking<\/li>
  2. Trekking<\/li>
  3. Forts<\/li>
  4. Rock Climbing<\/li>
  5. High Altitude Trekking<\/li>
  6. Mountaineering<\/li>
  7. Mountain Landscapes<\/li>
  8. Temples and Caves<\/li>
  9. Mountain Lifestyle<\/li><\/ol>

    Medium:<\/strong>\u00a0All the pencil sketching mediums will be accepted (including color pencils, graphite, charcoal pencils, pens). Paintings and digital art are not accepted for this competition.<\/p>

    Last Date of Submission:<\/strong> 27th of June 2024 (till 23:59 PM IST)

    Exhibition Date:<\/strong> 13th & 14th July 2024<\/p>

    Details:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Entry to the competition is open only for all Indian citizens.<\/p><\/li>

    2. The Competition is open to all artists above the age of 15 years.<\/li>
    3. No entry fees will be charged for entering the competition.<\/li>
    4. Winners will get to attend only the Sketching competition award ceremony (from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm of 14th July 2024) at no cost. If the entrant desires to attend the entire Girimitra Sammelan event then he\/she has to obtain a donor pass.<\/li><\/ol>

      Submission Guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>

      1. Contestants are required to send a high-resolution image of their sketch for evaluation.\u00a0Under no circumstances should a hard copy of the original sketch be sent<\/strong>.<\/li>
      2. No watermarking or digital content should appear on the Sketch.<\/li>
      3. When sending a digital image of the sketch, the angle should be such that the image is clearly visible. Do not use slanting angles etc. A top view will probably be fine. Or a scanned image is the best option.<\/li>
      4. Captions or text should be provided in the entry form only.<\/li><\/ol>

        How to enter the competition?<\/strong><\/p>

        1.Upload the high-quality image of the sketch. Maximum dimension should not exceed 18 inches (example: 12\u00d718 or 18\u00d712). File Format: JPEG or JPG. Resolution: 300 dpi
        2. Only three entries per person. No group participation is allowed.
        3. Each entry consists of a duly filled entry form.
        4. Complete the entry form with the required information such as your name, mobile number, email address, respective captions and location of the Sketch.
        5. Image File name must be your full name followed by serial number.
        Eg: If your full name is \u201cAbcd Efgh\u201d then your file name should be (Abcd Efgh 1 \/ Abcd Efgh 2 \/ Abcd Efgh 3 )<\/p>

        Results and Display of Sketches:<\/strong><\/p>

        1. Three winners will be selected in the contest. There will be a trophy for each winner.<\/li>
        2. Winner and Selected sketches recommended by the judges will be displayed at the venue, subject to availability of space.<\/li>
        3. It will be the artist’s own responsibility to collect the printouts of the sketch on the same evening after the end of the 14th July 2024 exhibition. Girimitra Sammelan will not be responsible if your print out is lost, damaged or otherwise damaged after the exhibition.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
