In 1937, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, a few enthusiastic young persons came together and formed an organisation named Maharashtra Seva Sangh. At that time, the basic objective behind forming the organisation was to celebrate religious festivals and to help each other in order to stay united. Day by day, number of members / volunteers increased and this led to the addition of the number of activities. The small sapling that it was when founded, has turned into a huge tree.

Maharashtra Seva Sangh is a very well known organisation that works in social, cultural and arts fields. It has its own huge and well maintained library. It conducts various activities in the field of literature, drama and music. It also arranges science conferences, mountaineering conferences, health camp and finance related programs successfully.
