Theme – scenery captured during wandering

Last date – 20 June 2026

1) The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts.

2) Please ensure that your photos meet the prescribed theme criteria. Only photographs taken during travel/wandering should be submitted. Close-up, flower, animal, bird, insect, or macro photography entries will not be accepted.

3) The submitted photograph must be captured using a mobile phone.

4) All the images should be numbered. Captions should be filled in the entry Form against the specific number. Please do not provide/superimpose any captions on the images.

5) Once uploaded, a photo is treated as an entry and cannot be replaced by another one.

6) Basic editing such as brightness, contrast, cropping, and color correction will be allowed. Excessive editing, AI-generated elements, or composite photographs will not be accepted.

7) Each participant may submit a maximum of 5 photographs.

8) All the entries sent for this competition must be original work of the entrant.

9) The photograph should not contain any watermark, logo, name, or signature.

10) Photographs must be submitted in JPEG format and in high resolution.

11) The participant shall bear full responsibility for copyrights, permissions, and consents related to the submitted photograph.

12) Any photograph found to be copied, plagiarized, or infringing copyright will lead to disqualification of the participant.

13) Girimitra Sammelan reserves the right to reproduce / use any or all entries for activities including but not limited to Catalog Printing, Press Publicity, Web & Social Media Publicity etc.

14) The decision of the judges shall be final and binding on all participants.

15) Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.

16) Photographs containing objectionable, obscene, or illegal content will be rejected immediately.

17) Entries must not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, contract rights or any other intellectual property rights of any person or entity or violate any person’s rights of privacy. Entrants will be solely responsible if any such copyright / infringement issues arise.

18) Participation in the competition will be considered as acceptance of all the rules and regulations by the participant.
