Photography Competition Details

21st Girimitra Sammelan Photography Competition begins on 7th of May 2024 and ends on 27th June 2024, at 11.59 pm (IST).

Last Date for accepting entries: 27th of June 2024 (till 11:59 PM IST)
Exhibition Date: 13th & 14th July, 2024

Details:

• • Entry to the competition is open only for all Indian citizens.
  • Participation Fee: Rs.100/-
  • Winners will get to attend only the photography competition award ceremony (from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm of 14th July 2024) at no cost. If the entrant desires to attend the entire Girimitra Sammelan event then he/she has to obtain a donor pass.

Competition Themes:

• Silhouettes: Photographs of you or your friends, highlighting stark black outlines against a vibrant, lush mountainous background.
• Mountain Pathways: Well-traveled or uncharted footpaths ascending through hills and valleys.

Guidelines:
1. Size: maximum dimension should not exceed 18 inches (example: 12×18 or 18×12), File Format: JPEG or JPG, Resolution: 300 dpi
2. No watermarking or digital matter should appear on the photograph
3. Photographer’s name should not be visible on images (every effort is made to judge entries based solely on the image and without distractions)
4. Captions or text should be provided in the entry form only

How to enter the competition?
1. Click on the entry form link. You will be directed to the payment link. After successful payment you will be directed to the main entry form.
2. Each entry consists of a duly filled entry form and the images. The entry form consists of 4 sections as per competition theme. Please use the entry form link given below.
3. Complete the entry form with the required information such as your name, mobile number, email address, respective captions and location of the photo
4. Image File name must be your full name followed by serial number for each theme.
Example: if your full name is Sanchit Joshi then your file name should be Sanchit Joshi 1 / Sanchit Joshi 2 / Sanchit Joshi 3
5. Maximum of 3 entries per theme can be submitted by each participant.

1st Prize: Rs.3000/-
2nd Prize: Rs.2000/-
3rd Prize: Rs.1000/-
